Visiting to Songkhla and Hat Yai City by Tammy

Hello , In this blog. I went to Songkhla City on 27/11/2012. It's a serenity city and nice places here

There are not much westerners here. It's like the city is design for Malay Chinese and Indian here.

However ,Along to the beach the land and property are belong to the government.

 So, there is no hotel right here. That's why there is no westerner also.

you will see a viewpoint backward me,, that is Songkhla city.  There is no skyscraper right here  because it is illegal to make a building here.

My very first time visit to Hat Yai City

Today , I had just arrived here by Airasia Airline. I got a chance to visit here because my university will be closed for a week. I went to visit Hat Yai City by myself. So, I got a chance to go to the special place that many ethnic groups such as, Malay-Chinese, Malay-Indian, Malay-Malayu, and Singaporean were around here.

There are many foreigners come here for enjoy eating Chinese food.

Trip to Pattaya City by Tam

August 2012 , I went to Pattaya City with my close friend Nemo. We had our accommodation in the hotel called "Amari Orchid Pattaya Hotel" where is located in North Pattaya. The cost of room was a quite expensive that cost us 5000 THB per night and more. I had been there for a few days. We went to some special places like The Tiffany's Show.

The Tiffany Cabaret Show is the most popular Lady Boy's show in the Kingdom of Thailand. We were amazed by the colorful costumes, wonderful shows and most importantly- the beautiful lady boys. The entrance fees vary, foreigners usually pay higher than the locals. 

 This place is called "Art in Paradise at Pattaya"  It is a virtually 3 dimension picture and very beautiful. If you   visit Pattaya City you should not forget visit here. Because it's a wonderful museum that many people go there everyday. The ticket is about 150 THB each

# 1 Impacts of Tourism Thailand for foreign traveller

In Thailand, the tourism industry is the main income of Thailand. Most foreign travelers always come to visit Thailand during high-season or between December-May every year because most of foreigners from almost every countries can visit Thailand for vacation without visa entry for 30 days such as USA , UK ,  All European countries  , Russia , UAE , South Africa , Japan , all of Asean countries ,and so on. Furthermore,  if your passport   require a visa entry  for Thailand. you could easily make a visa entry for Thailand at visa on arrival , Suvanbhumi airport. 

Luckily, I used to work at visa on arrival and inbound immigration at Suvanabhumi airport that's why I know it well.By that time, I found a lot of impacts while I was working there . But I 'm not going to criticize it. I will criticize about impacts of Thailand. So far, Thailand has been still a developing country for long time ago.And, It is better for westerner or easterner to visit Thailand because the cost of living here is cheaper than other countries. It's not an impact at all.

In contrary, some of areas in Thailand are manifest  higher cost of living  than other areas that either foreign travelers or Thai travelers can not avoid when they are visiting in those areas.

Especially ,In Phuket Province , I used to visited There twice times. Everything such as, food, beverage, accommodation, car fare , and services are fabulous overpriced. 
even though  I am a Thai visitor ,I can never look for a cheap food over here at all.  The minimum  of a dish of food is 50 BATH. Unlike, other area it is just 30-40 Baht . 
Besides the carfare on Patong beach is quiet expensive. It's around 200 Baht. Unlike others area it is just only at least 10 baht you can go anywhere around in Bangkok and Chaing mai.

Also, taxi driver and tuk-tuk driver  will probably require a unjustified carfare for foreigner or new immigrant from you . So you just bargain carfare with the driver first prior to moving with them otherwise you will be overcharged.

Next , you will see travel scams happen everywhere. If you are the foreigner remember you will be a target person for them. 

Then, you will see the commercial sex around some popular cities such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Pattaya, Chaingmai, Huahin , Bangkok and so on (It's a normal thing that you see anywhere). There 's many prostituteswho look for negotiate with you  when you are visiting there.

My Trip : Wat Phra That Phanom at Nakornphanom Province

This is my first time that I  had ever visited Isarn or the northeastern region of Thailand during October, 2012. And , Wat Phra That Phanom was my first trip that I had visited to Nakornphanom Province. Also,  I visited there accompany with my close friend. But, It's quite faraway from Bangkok. If you would like to visit here. I recommend you to reach here by air. There are some airline reach to  Nakornphanom Province such as Airasia, Nokair , and Orient Thai airline . If you would like to save your money I recommend you to come by bus. you just take 8 or 9 hours to reach here.

Wat Phra That Phanom is the holy area of the Phra That Phanom chedi, located in the district of the same name, in the southern part of Nakhon Phanom Province, northeastern Thailand. According to legend, this structure comprises the Buddha's breast bone, and as such, it is one of the most important Theravada Buddhist structures in the region. It was initially structured in the 16th century by the Laotian King Setthathirath of Lanxang. every year, a festival is held in That Phanom to honor the temple. This festival last for one week, during which thousands of people make pilgrimages to honor the sacred sanctuary.

However, Wat Phra That Phanom fell down in 1976, but was renovated with funds raised by public subscription, and from the government.
